Puma Energy is privately owned. This gives us flexibility to react quickly to customers’ needs and capitalise on new opportunities. We have a special relationship with our strategic partners and main shareholders - Trafigura Group. While we operate independently, we benefit from their market insights and management expertise.
Founded in 1993, Trafigura is a leading international commodity trader, the second largest independent non-ferrous trading company and the third largest independent oil trader in the world.
It is owned by its management and employees. Trafigura specialises in the oil, minerals and metals markets across 38 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, North, Central and South America.
